Christian Discovery believes in God as portrayed by the Bible and specifically as portrayed by the New Testament of the Bible. The Bible used by Christian Discovery is the New King James Translation.
Christian Discovery will conduct Surrender Events, Worship Services, Bible Studies, Prayer Meetings, and Special Meetings for the public. These meetings are for people to experience the presence of Jesus and designed specifically to heal the sick, delivered the oppressed, console the grieving, and anoint people with power and authority. All of this is accomplished by everyone kneeling, and publicly surrendering to Jesus.
Christian Discovery believes in six main doctrines as outlined in Hebrews Chapter 6 verses 1-4.
They are:
1. Salvation is by faith in Jesus Christ.
2. Repentance from evil thoughts and deeds.
3. Eternal judgment for not repenting or unbelief.
4. Baptism of water by a believer in Jesus Christ after repentance.
5. Baptism of the Holy Spirit after or during conversion with the evidence of being baptized in the Holy Spirit is speaking in other tongues.
6. Laying on of hands by believers to heal the sick; consecrate a person for service in the ministry; and to bless a person with the presence of God.

Surrender means confessing publicly your weaknesses and asking Jesus to be the Lord of your life.
We believe that unless a person surrenders to Jesus and confesses their sins and weaknesses they cannot be saved. We believe that the only way Jesus can empower a person to overcome their sin, addictions, and weakness is by surrendering their lives fully to Him. We believe that upon true surrender, Jesus empowers a person and removes the power of sin, addictions, and demonic influence over their lives.
